Slide Show Don't foget that disease fact sheets are due next Wed! Today, we talked about the fact sheets due Wed April 5th. Students are creating a fact sheet on the disease that their book is focused on. Here are two examples to use as an exemplar:
Today we finished our notes on infectious diseases - fungi and prions. We also learned about and discussed Zika ahead of our guest speaker on Wednesday.

Today we reviewed the latest March Mammal Madness results. Below is a link in case you missed it. March Mammal Madness Homework: 1. Keep reading in your disease book 2. While I am out this Thursday and Friday, you will be watching Contagion. After seeing the movie, you will need to write a 3 paragraph mini essay about the movie that is both a critique of the movie (how is the acting, plot, etc) and a critique of the science about diseases (what does the movie get right and not so right). REMINDER: I will be out until Monday and will only have access to email in the movies. Today, we checked in on our disease books. See the assignment below if you were absent.
