We continued our work on catapults.
Catapult battle day will be March 9th. Don't forget about the catapult link at the top of the page for resources. I will be out of town all of next week and will only have access to email sporadically. Please contact Dan if you need immediate help. Thanks!

Happy 364 days until Valentine's Day!
We continued to work on catapults today. Students made great progress. No homework! The best way to celebrate the holiday of love is to begin a project where students get to destroy things! Today we began an involved catapult design project that will end with a battle of machines. See below for the slide show from today and a link to all of the paperwork for students.
Hello All! Today we watched the documentary below to get us ready to build catapults. Enjoy!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIeAXKAAKv4 Today we finished our Nova episode on population dynamics and then played a game involving statistics and geography. Nothing for homework!
Today, we processed our expedition kickoff activity from Friday. Please see the slideshow below for more information. We also began an episode of Nova called The Population Paradox, examining the unequal increases in populations around the world and what that could mean for humanity. A link to the video is at the end of the slide show.
